Project Open Hand is a non-profit organization, meeting community nutrition needs through programs for people living with HIV/AIDS, the homebound/critically ill, and seniors. Since 1985, Project Open Hand has been providing “meals with love” to people living with serious illnesses and to seniors in San Francisco and Alameda County and has served as a model for over 100 organizations all over the world. Visit www.openhand.org to find out more. The Dinner Series started in September 2009 and ended in July 2010. All dinners were multiple courses paired with the Nine Vines wines, and other wines by the Angove Family Winemakers. A minimum of 30% of the ticket sales was donated to Project Open Hand at the end of the series, raising $7,000 for the organization! Our next series will start in October 2010. Stay tuned here for more details.
